Rope Access

Rope access allows trained technicians to manoeuvre in all directions, giving them capabilities in ascending, descending, aid climbing, horizontal and diagonal progression.

In order to ensure exemplary health and safety credentials and maximum working efficiency, Ainscough Wind Energy Services is a member of the International Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA), the sole global trade association in the work at height and rope access sector. IRATA has over 40,000 registered technicians in 50 countries covering every continent.

IRATA developed the scheme over the last 25 years to a point whereby it is the chosen means of access for much of the work in the offshore oil and gas industry as well as a range of projects in construction, civil engineering, the built and natural environment and much more. Its success is based on thorough training and strict work guidelines that deliver an unrivalled safe working record year after year.
